2006 School Lectures In Moline, IL
Illinois MUFON State Section Director, Mike Driscoll, and State Director, David Marler, were invited to speak to students at Wilson and John Deere Junior High Schools on May 23rd and 24th, 2005.
There were ten lectures presented in this two day period. MUFON representatives spoke to five groups of students per school on the subject of UFOs. Each class was comprised of approximately 15 to 20 students.
The students are all enrolled in a Critical Reading course that uses a textbook on the subject of UFOs. The book is entitled: "Aliens and UFOs" and discusses some of the more credible cases involving UFOs over the last fifty years.
In early 2006 Illinois MUFON State Section Directors, Vic Connor and David Finkbeiner, lectured to both schools again. This time, they had the opportunity to lecture to the entire student bodies. We have been invited back for later this school year and look forward to seeing the kids.
